Engine Derate is very common on truck, Many codes can cause your truck to Derate to 55 mph, 5 mph or completely shutdown. We’ll connect our diagnostic laptop to find the issue and we’ll do our best to get you back on the road.

Time to do a regeneration and truck will not allow it? We have most of semi truck softwares to perform a forced regeneration and lower the soot level down.

Forced regeneration doesn’t always fix everything, we might need parts to be able to start a forced regeneration. We will check all active codes to inform me of what’s causing the truck not to do regeneration.

Scr closed loop is mostly a Freightliner issue. When the truck will not allow you to drive more than 5 mph. At this time we’ll connect DDDL.8 software. Once connected we’ll find the main active codes and try to fix it. If it can’t be fixed due to parts or expense, we’ll clean 7th injector, DEF dozer and replace DEF pump filter. We’ll start a forced regeneration and then perform a SCR PARKED EFFICIENCY TEST, the goal is to get the LARMF to above 1.00 this will temporarily repair and can’t be warrantied. Codes will always come back until SCR system is fixed or replaced.
